Winona Ryder Named The New Face of Marc Jacobs Beauty. There’s a new face for Marc Jacobs Beauty and it’s Winona Ryder. The beauty brand made the announcement last week with the actresses fronting their spring 2016 beauty campaign. In case you didn’t know Winona and Marc have been good friends for more than 25 years so it’s nice to see the duo working together.
“It is with great pride (and pleasure) that I ‘leak’ this image from our upcoming 2016 MARC JACOBS BEAUTY campaign,” Jacobs captioned with the first photo from the campaign.
“Mesmerized by this image and her look- created by Diane [Kendal] (using our fine liner eye crayon, velvet noir mascara and new nudes lipstick) and hair by Guido [Palau] I am reminded of one of my all time favorite films: The Last Year at Marienbad,” the designer continued, growing more excited by the photo and his inspiration as the caption progressed. “The flawless cool, elegant and timeless chic of actress Delphine Seyrig has long been a reference of mine. The force of the surreal calm, and painstaking fetishistic polish of this film and its heroine are truly ‘ON FLEEK’ and continues to inspire me to date.”
